cover. Car Covers use a lot of material, - 30 yards is common for most vehicles.

resistant, have as few seams as possible and look great on your vehicle.
Construction
Durable, leak resistant seams on outdoor car covers are created using sewn
using double needle and overlapped seams, resulting in a 
backup stitch if the main stitch fails. The indoor car covers like the Coverking
Stretch Satin Custom Car Cover is sewn with a “blind seam”
which is ideal for use in the indoor and is perfect for your show cars and
classic cars. It helps show off the look and curve of your vehicle, while
protecting it from fingerprints, dust and prying eyes. Coverking Custom Car
Covers have neoprene elastic tensioners sewn in the front and rear of every
cover. Option security comes in the form of protected grommets
sewn in the sides and covered, so as not to be visible when the car cover
is covering a vehicle. These grommets can be used with optional cable lock
systems to keep someone from removing your car cover, or bad winds from taking
it away. All outdoor Car Covers are sewn with heavy, wax coated thread to
seal the fabric where the needle pierced through, reducing the chance of leakage
through the seam.
